Jimmy (Ronin Cozplay) first began cosplay in 2013 when finding a desired costume design proved to be difficult. Being inspired by the SyFy series, Face Off, he decided to create a costume instead.

The feedback received with the costume design lead to a great feeling of accomplishment and acceptance by a group of people with similar interests and personalities who would influence personal growth that would extend outside cosplay.  Through the art of cosplay, Jimmy would discover how to better interact with people and improve his communication with others.   Incorporating theses skills into daily life has lead to new friendships and career opportunities.
